Molėtai regional municipality's historical mystery - the Kampomenes hillfort, situated in a bay of Durio River's old channel in a separate gravel bank, has stood out for its approximate height of 25 meters and slopes that are around 6-6,5 meters high. The thickness of the hillfort is around 1 meter per step. However, it's the profusion of arrowheads found within the hillfort that truly fascinates. Even today, the faint smell of burnt wood lingers, a reminder of the activities that may have occurred here thousands of years ago. The archaeological site, located in Čiulėnų Seniūnija, has long captivated Lithuanian archaeologists.
