Liesėnai hillfort, located in Videniškiai, Molėtų District, Lithuania, is a formidable earthen fortification, colloquially known as a mound. Reaching heights between 5 and 16 meters, the hill is both an architectural marvel and a historical enigma. Digging reveals charred, whole and broken pottery, flint, dating the hillfort to the Iron Age – Early Middle Ages. This national cultural monument, protected since 1998, is currently undergoing renovation.
