The archaeological site known as Darbutų I piliakalnis, or Bielskio kalnu, is located in Raseinių region's territory, near the villages of Darbutų, near the intersection of Dubysos and Kirkšnovės rivers. It is approximately 20 meters high and has a square-shaped fortification with walls fortified with turrets. The highest point of the site is 12 meters above the ground. A terrace is 7 meters below the highest point, 4 meters below the upper platform, 0.3 meters below the second platform, and 1 meter below the third, as well as a limestone platform 1 meter below the highest point, supported by a stone steps platform 1 meter below, and another platform 0.5 meters below that.
The site was damaged in the 19th century and later protected by Lithuania's Cultural Heritage Protection Law, passed on May 19, 1998. Excavations by Liudvikas Kšivickis in 1911 revealed remnants of 12th to 14th-century iron, coal, oak, Roman-era pottery, and findings from the excavations include archaeological objects, pottery, animal bones.
