Located in Raseinių rajono savivaldybės teritorijoje, the Betygala II hillfort, also referred to as Alkos or Aukos kalns, is an intriguing archaeological site that reflects the history of the region. Thought to be the remnants of the first hillfort, known as 'papilys' (hidden fort), it lies approximately 300 meters from the Laitai stūkso Piliakalnio koplyčia. Covering an area of 107x73 meters, this site boasts a flat top that rises 7 meters above the surrounding terrain. The hillfort presents a roughly triangular shape, tilting towards the south, and is enclosed by a ditch. Standing at 18-25 meters high, it boasts steep drops on its southern and eastern sides.
