Tullkammaren, referred to as Tullkammaren by locals, was built in 1860 in Umeå, Sweden. It originally served as a customs office and a storage facility for harbor goods. The symmetrical design was lost after a fire in 1908. Today, the building stands as a cultural heritage museum, focusing on Umeå's history. Concurrently, Tullmagasinet, built in 1901, serves as a testament to Umeå city's significant harbor activities in the early 1900s, but it is not the subject of this story.
