A medieval castle in France's Loire Valley, the Château de la Guerche, built during the reign of Charles VII of France, stands in the little village of La Guerche, Indre-et-Loire. Originally constructed for Antoinette de Maignelais, a cousin of Agnès Sorrel who was executed for her crimes, the castle holds a rich history. Today, the castle holds a rich history, now listed as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.
