The Torre de Cónchar, located in the municipality of Villamena, is a Napoleonic era tower with a circular and tronconic plan. Part of the external plastering is preserved, and there are two holes worked in brick, one of them possibly a door-window, and the other a slit or loophole, with a conical shape. The tower is dated to the Nazari era and is part of the defensive system of the Lecrín Valley. From the tower, it is possible to contact visually with the Castle of Dúrcal and the Tower of Marchena.
