Castell de la Mola, located in Colldejou, Spain, is a testament to the region's rich history. Although its exact construction date is uncertain, it is believed to date back to the 19th century during the Third Carlists War, serving as a telegraphy station with a system of poles that could be observed from kilometres away. It is believed that a pre-Roman Iberian settlement existed at the summit of La Mola, and that it was used by Romans and Moors. Today, the castle stands as a National Cultural Heritage site in the Baix Camp region, and is listed in the Inventory of Architectural Heritage of Catalonia.
