The Hidden Spa of Paretetes dels Moros

Today, these ruins are found hidden between the fields of garrofers, tarongers, and almonds, distinguishable by three separate areas. The northern part offers four small rooms, which may have been part of baths or balnea. The caldarium, a small heated room, can still be seen with a square rectangular apse, reaching over two meters in height. A cooler room (tepidarium) open to the west is also visible. Twelve meters south, you can find half-meter high walls, forming two large rectangles. The third area is home to the hydraulic structures, located to the east, heavily affected by agricultural transformations of the early 20th century. Here, the remains of two large, rectangular pools, separated by a wall constructed with large river pebbles clumped together with lime mortar, are uncovered.
