The Museum of Ethnography, a Swedish science museum, houses a collection of around 220,000 items spanning across cultures. Located in Museiparken at Gärdet, Stockholm, the museum is part of Swedish National Museums of World Culture since 1999. It was founded by Hjalmar Stolpe in 1930, with Fredrik Adam Smitt as the first curator of the ethnographic collections. The museum moved twice before settling in its current building in 1980. The museum's collection is expanding with the addition of a digital exhibition.
