The Monumento ai Caduti in Parma, Italy, is a significant war memorial, dedicated to the memory of all soldiers who have died in all wars. This monument, known as Monumento ai caduti di tutte le guerre, was installed on the side of the bell-tower facing via Cavour in 1961. The bell-tower was built attached to the church of San Ludovico in the 18th century. The design of the monument was created by Mario Monguidi, with sculptures by Renato Brozzi and Luigi Froni.
The monument features a bronze relief of five soldiers surrounded by barbed wire, representing soldiers from the first half of the 20th century. Above the soldiers, a bronze figure of an Italian lineage kneels in a niche. The monument's plaque, which was inaugurated by Italian president Giovanni Gronchi in 1961, features verses written by Parmesan poet Jacopo Bocchialini. The plaque's script recalls the script used by the fascists. The monument serves as the site for wreath-laying on 4 November, the day memorializing the Italian armed forces.
