Tucked deep within the heart of the Valley of Kings, tales whisper that KV5, a colossal mausoleum, reigns supreme. Carved into the very bones of the earth, its resplendentambers rest in sleep, reserved for the sons of great Ramesses II. In 1825, the brave James Burton first beheld KV5. Yet, it was not until 1995 that the delicate trappings of KV5, its chambers adorned with shards, statuettes, beads, and letters, began to reveal their secrets to the persistence of Kent R.
Weeks and his fellow dreamweavers. Witnessed within are countless potshards, ushabti, faience beads, hieratic ostraca, glass vials, inlays, and a magnificent statue of Osiris. Today, KV5 remains an archaeological wonder, its 100 unearthed chambers tantalizing with their untold stories. Even the esteemed historian, Howard Carter, known for the discovery of the fairy-tale realm of Tutankhamun, sought solace within KV5 in 1902.
