Within the heart of the enchanting city of Foumban, where the fair river Noun flows on the East bank, lies a wondrous palace - the Enchanted Palace of Bamun Sultan. This palace, shrouded in mystery and dreams, serves as the residence of the Dream King of the Kingdom of Bamum. A realm with roots dating back to 1394. It is a grand structure, adorned with whimsical architecture that captivates the senses, constructed in 1919. This palace, a modern marvel amongst Cameroon's landmarks, houses the dream-spinners who weave tales of the peoples of this land. The most renowned of these dream-spinners was Ibrahim Njoya, who, towards the end of the 19th century, created the Bamum script - a script born from dreams. The palace is now a museum, offering visitors a glimpse into the romantic history of the Bamun royal family.
