Once bustling, Nebida now mostly stands abandoned. The remnants of its mining past can still be found in the forsaken structures scattered throughout the area. The most striking of these relics is Laveria Lamarmora, an ore washery constructed in the late 19th century to support the nearby mines employing the local populace. Today, the Laveria and the remainder of Nebida are conserved as part of the Geominerary, Historical and Environmental Park of Sardinia, a UNESCO-recognized site.
