Nestled amidst the tranquil countryside of Conca de Dalt, you'll find Sant Martí de Vilanoveta, otherwise known as the Mas de Vilanova in Vilanoveta. As per historical evidence, it dates back to the medieval era. The church presents a single nave oriented north to south, lacking a separate apse. The northeastern section showcases a basement with a barrel vault, possibly the oldest part of this intriguing complex. The lack of a bell tower or campanar is compensated by an espadanya on the southern temple’s facade. The southern wall retains remnants of Romanesque architecture. While the basement at the northeast seems to have served as a sacristy, its minimal height leaves much room for conjecture.
