In one of the signs on the stairs of S:t Eriksgatan 44 (previously 22) it has long been written: “AG Dahlman Sharpener”. During his 25 years as a constable, Albert Gustaf Dahlman was able to execute six particularly terrifying individuals: Anna Månsdotter, the Yngsjö murderer; Per Johan Pettersson, the Alfta murderer; Theodor Sallrot, the Johannishus murderer; Lars Nilsson, the Löderup murderer; John Svarte Filip Nordlund, the Mälar murderer; and Johan Alfred Andersson Ander, who is the last to be executed in Sweden, in 1910. The house on S:t Eriksgatan is now demolished.
