The actress Naima Wifstrand grew up at Fleminggatan 36 (at the time number 40). She achieved her major breakthrough in The Threepenny Opera by the German playwright Bertolt Brecht, who later wrote the play Mother Courage for her. Wifstrand also starred in films such as Kungsgatan, Smiles of a Summer Night, and Wild Strawberries.
