Discover Karsvik Manor: A Surviving Relic from Norra Ängby's Past

Karsvik Manor, once known as Karsvik Östergård, was a farm situated in Norra Ängby. The only remaining building on the farm, Östergård, extends to the green area northwest of Vultejusvägen. The house was a timber-framed building with a central first room, primarily used as a residence for the servants and laborers of Åkeshov. The large field between the location of the village and Vultejusvägen is known as Karsvik's meadow. Karsvik's meadow extends to the green area northwest of Vultejusvägen. Various activities, including a distillery, a brewery, and a forge, were carried out here. The house was restored, and the front door was moved from the southern to the northern side.
