Castell Mawr, in Pembrokeshire, is a significant Iron Age hillfort. thought to have been a fort for local tribes, its location connected Dyfed and Iwerddon during the Celtic period. The fort covers approximately 2.5 hectares, making it one of the larger archaeological sites in Wales. It served as a significant military site, but also as a crucial settlement and gathering place. The hilltop location of the fort offers a stunning view of the surrounding countryside.
