Hanaskog Castle, a stately mansion in Östra Göinge Municipality in Scania, Sweden, was once owned by Count Carl Axel Wachtmeister. In 1852-1854, he had the main building renovated and extended on two floors, turning it into a manor house. Although Wachtmeister did not originally own the estate, he purchased it in 1827. Today, this grand estate invites visitors to step back in time and experience a piece of Scania's rich history.
