Follow the trail of the Romanesque chapel

Sant Miquel de Casa Cortit, located in Pallars Jussà, Spain, is a surviving vestige of a Romanesque chapel, dating from the 11th century. The remains consist of a single row embedded in a rock, serving as a base, and the shape of a semicircular apse and the start of a nave. The chapel was likely small, but the shape of the apse and the layout hint at former grandeur. These remains can be found about 100 meters from the house, on the south-east side. The field that remains to the north of the remains continues to be called the Feixes de Sant Miquel, through which its dedication can be traced, as there is no documentation to confirm it.
