Deep in Tremp, Spain, Sant Miquel de Gurp is the sole reminder of a Romanesque chapel donated in 1079 by Arnau, Count of Pallars Sobirà. While the other walls of Sant Miquel remain in fragments, only the southern wall and some fragments of the other walls still stand, made of well-aligned stones. Today, they stand weathered, with their roof long gone but the medieval craftsmanship still visible.
