The Castillitos Battery, also known as C-1, is a former coastal battery and a Bien de Interés Cultural located in Cartagena, Spain. It is one of three coastal batteries at Cabo Tiñoso. Built between 1933 and 1936 to protect the entrance to Cartagena Bay, the Castillitos Battery imitates a medieval castle in its architecture to disguise it. Each artillery piece has a room for machines, powder, and spare parts. Castillitos was armed with two 15-inch Vickers-Armstrong guns. These guns had the power to shoot a nearly one-ton projectile to 35 kilometers. In 1937, it targeted a single ship during the Spanish Civil War.
