Bijautonių piliakalnis

Bijautonių piliakalnis is a hillfort located in the Kaišiadorių region of Lithuania. It is built on a sloping terrain near Antkalnis – Kruonis by the Strėva river. The fort is roughly quadrangular in shape with rounded corners, dating back to the Middle Ages. It is approximately 7.5 meters tall and 5 meters wide. The height to the top of the fort was increased by 2 meters and the wall's height was increased to 17 meters in the past. A tall stone structure is found near the top of the fort. The fort's ditches are dry, with only two small pools left. The hillfort is overgrown with bushes and thick vegetation. The hillfort is dated to the 11th to 12th centuries. In 2005, the Cultural Heritage Department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania declared the hillfort a protected cultural asset.
