The Apolo Theatre was designed by architect Pedro Cerdán in 1905 and opened on 4th January 1907. It features an Italian-style stage and audience seating. After being neglected for years, a restoration process initiated by the Dirección General de Bellas Artes of the Region of Murcia was completed in 2009. The Apolo Theatre is recognized as a cultural asset of interest, as decreed by the Government of the Region of Murcia on 12th March 1998.
