The Whispering Tomb Beside the Majestic Great Pyramid of Giza

Hidden amongst the legendary Great Pyramid of Giza lies a mysterious tomb, a secret resting place debated to be that of Meritites I or a forgotten queen of Khufu.

Amidst the hallowed grounds of the Giza Necropolis, the slumbering Pyramid G1-b, shrouded in shadow and dreams, rests in gentle communion beside its noble Great Pyramid of Giza companion. This midway sister stands between the three queenly pyramids, bound in proximity by merely the span of a few footsteps from Pyramid G1-a and Pyramid G1-c. Whilst some daydream that these are the burial grounds of Meritites I, other muses, such as Zahi Hawass, propose it as a magical slumber of a yet unheard queen of Khufu. Casting shadows of 50 meters across its base and soaring 30 meters into the heavens, this silent sentinel resonates with the mystery of the Great Pyramid. It dreams, enwrapped in its own enigma, beside its noble companion.
