Torre Orris: A Square Masterpiece in Sant Vicenç dels Horts

Torre Orris, a gem hidden in the heart of Sant Vicenç dels Horts (Baix Llobregat), Spain, is a breathtaking example of Baroque architecture. Originally constructed during the era of Can Llopart, the building was later bought by the Orris family in 1917 and underwent an extension in 1924, led by architect Melcior Vinyals i Muñoz. The tower stands tall at 11.5 meters, featuring a square plan and an elevated ground floor. Its four facades exhibit a consistent design, each with arched openings at the ground and first floors, and a balcony on the S facade at the first floor. The tower itself is topped with a watchtower at the intersection of the slopes. Today, Torre Orris stands proudly, included in the Inventari del Patrimoni Arquitectònic de Catalunya as an isolated yet exquisite piece of history.
