The tower farmhouse where Picasso sketched in Sant Vicenç del Horts

Can Pujador, a farmhouse in the Catalan style, nestled in the municipality of Sant Vicenç dels Horts, showcases a rich history and exceptional preservation.Built in the 15th century, the farmhouse is included in the Inventary of Catalonia's Architectural Heritage. Though Michelin's guide offers little detail about the house, it is renowned as a well-preserved historical building. Its most intriguing association comes from 1920 when Pablo Picasso, a visitor, created sketches during his stay. Carlos Puig i Guerau, the house's then-owner and a collector of modern art, extended the invitation. Picasso, in a letter, expressed his admiration for nature, stating that the farmhouse, with its towering tower, continued to thrive in vibrant Sant Vicenç.
