Sant Vicenç dels Horts' 1915 Ornate Home Revealed

In the heart of Sant Vicenç dels Horts, Spain, the building at Carrer Barcelona, 144, is an integral part of theInventari del Patrimoni Arquitectònic de Catalunya. Built in 1915 by Salvador Valerí Pupurí, the house showcases a unique facade blending traditional and artistic elements. The ground-floor portals are adorned with floral ornaments that mimic carved arches and water spouts. The windows upstairs exhibit floral and filigree relief decorations. Under the balcony, a group of four supports and a repeating pattern motif can be found. The building is topped by a balcony railing that encloses the terrace and a square fronton displaying the date 1915. The building’s facade also features two types of treatment in the empty spaces: simulated upholstery at ground level, and simulated rough stone at the first floor. The house stands 6.5m tall.
