Torre d'en Vallès: Pre-medieval Muslim Agricultural Site in Vilanova i la Geltrú

The Torre d'en Vallès, in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Spain, is a historic building protected as a Cultural Heritage of Local Interest. Its semi-circular floor rests on a larger, cylindrical base, built of small, irregular stones. Two rows of gunports can be seen on the tower, remnants of its past. During the celebration of the Camp de Treball Internacional del Turó del Sèu-Ortoll in 2017, the vegetation and human waste covering the tower were cleared. This tower, likely a union of various Muslim agricultural properties, may have been known as Ibn-Abidis, though the exact timeline remains unclear.
