A sombre stone animal protects Lleida in its grid

Font de les Piques is a Baroque work protected as a Local Cultural Heritage asset in Lleida. The font has pilasters and a fronton on a base with a stone relief escut at the bottom. Inside the pedestal, a relief of an animal's head protrudes from which water flows. Font de les Piques, originally located in Carrer de les Piques near Plaça Cervantes, was moved and placed in its current location in the 1970s.
