The Runic Fragment of Mariakyrkan's Cemetery

Lying deep in the outer wall of Gernerska gravkoret in Sigtuna's cemetery is a relic from the past. The relic, a granite fragment, is a viking-era runic stone, approximately 0.6 by 0.5 meters in size. The runic inscription is etched onto the gravestone, alongside the fragment U Fv1992;159A. Known as Upplands runic inscription 381, this runic stone is a testament to the history of this place and the people who once called it home.
