Lopaičių piliakalnis, Leibiškiai, Tverai – a square-shaped hillfort standing proud in western Lithuania, with a hidden past and mysterious origins. It sits at an elevation of 211m in the Aitrale Dešiniajame krante, offering few clues to its original purpose. The hillfort is enclosed by a moat, surrounded by a ditch that stretches for 50m, up to 15m wide, and 1m deep in some places. A staircase built of stone slabs leads to the top, standing approximately 27m high. Shards of pottery have been found at the base of the hillfort.
