15th-Century Painted Secrets of Lagrasse's Maison Presbytérale

The Maison presbytérale in Lagrasse, France, is a 15th-century architectural treasure, though it may seem otherwise at first glance. Situated at Rue Paul Vergnes 16, Lagrasse, this historical monument underwent inscription in 2016 and classification in 2020. Whilst the house, courtyard, and walls surrounding the courtyard were recently classified, the two painted ceilings from the 15th century, on the ground and first floors, were classified in 1954. The captivating secrets of the painted ceilings are concealed by ivy, visible only when you reach the first floor.
