A Medieval Fortress Holds a Complex History - Castell de Castellar

Overlooking the tranquil landscapes of Aguilar de Segarra, Spain, stands the cultural heritage site known as Castell de Castellar. The castle's construction is believed to date back to the territorial reorganization made between 880 and 890 by the count of Barcelona Guifré the Pilot.
