Löberöd Castle in Sweden was built by a baron, sold to a countess, and then to a general. But when the general died, things changed drastically for Countess Amalia.

Löberöd Castle resides in Eslöv Municipality, Scania, Sweden, and was the vision of Baron Hans Ramel in 1798-1799. The castle had a brief chapter in the life of Countess Amalia Sparre (1753-1830), who sold it to Lieutenant General Jacob De la Gardie (1768-1842), a diplomat. Its ownership was then transferred to De la Gardie's wife, but an unexpected shift occurred following her death in 1883.
