The Slaughterhouse Municipal de Badalona, located in Badalona, Spain, was built in 1927 under Primo de Rivera's dictatorship to replace an outdated facility. This structure spans over 17,000 square meters, organized into sections or pavilions, each dedicated to a specific livestock: pork, cattle, and sheep. The building still retains visible railways for transporting animal parts, a reminder of its industrial past. The interior of the naus showcases columns by Foneria Torras and ceramic friezes.
The most conspicuous feature of the complex is the water tower or clock tower. The slaughterhouse was intentionally situated beyond the urban area to prevent expansion issues. The provision to construct the new slaughterhouse was first mentioned in El Eco de Badalona on September 13, 1924, and the city council allocated a budget of 200,000 pessetas for land acquisition and 1,250,000 pessetas for construction in October 1924.
