Saxholmen Castle, spread over an area of approximately 130x90 meters and oriented north-south, is a fascinating testament to medieval architecture. The structure chiefly consists of a ruin hill, approximately 20 meters in diameter and 3-3.5 meters high, with a striking hollow at its center, approximately 7 meters in diameter, and extending 1.5 meters deep. An observable vault can be seen in the southern section of the hollow. The original interior's shape is uncertain, but estimated to be around 4x5 meters. A terrace measuring 7x5 meters in size, has been crafted on the northwestern side of the ruin hill. The ground slopes steeply towards the west, north, and east.
