The Talaia de s'Enclusa, located at a height of 275 meters, is one of the last watchtowers built on Menorca. Constructed during the second half of the 18th century, it was built to monitor potential corsair attacks and to control the entry of ships during episodes of disease. Despite being in a very deteriorated state today, it stands as a testament to the long history of invasions, disease control, and coastal monitoring that characterized the Mediterranean islands of the time.
