Stenhammar, a palace and mansion, is located outside Flens in Södermanland County, Sweden, around 120 kilometers southwest of Stockholm. Upon the Western Main Line railway (Västra stambanan), it was donated to the state by Robert von Kræmer in 1903. The palace, notable for its ownership by a courtier, is not considered a crown palace. The will stipulated that it should be leased out to a prince of the royal house, preferably a Duke of Södermanland, if there was one. Before King Carl XVI Gustaf, it was previously leased to Prince Wilhelm, Duke of Södermanland, who lived there until his death. In August 2023, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia hosted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at Stenhammar, marking a significant moment during the latter's visit to Sweden and talks on the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.
