Skallsjö Church Ruins, a former parish church in Skallsjö parish, Göteborgs stift, was built around the 1200s. In 1685, the church was extended towards the east. The church, built of grey stone, was both internally and externally plastered. The altar painting was donated in 1758 by Conrad Vilhelm von Döbeln. The old church was abandoned in 1896 and demolished in 1937. Despite efforts to renovate in 1936-1937, it was not protected from vandalism. The medieval baptismal font was later found and is now kept in the new church.
