Secrets Hidden in the Fields

Tucked away in the rural, rolling hills of the Rincón de Ademuz lies Corrales de la Nava. Despite its quiet, bucolic exterior, there are secrets hidden beneath. Corrales de la Nava is a part of the municipal term of Castielfabib, Valencia, and is located at approximately 1226 meters of altitude. Some buildings were used by farmers as temporary residences during certain stages of the agricultural cycle. La Nava constitutes notable examples of traditional architecture in the Rincón de Ademuz, and nearby a spring called ‘Fuente de la Nava’ can be found, providing water for the locals.

The area is also an archaeological site, with two Iberian necropolises and a Celtiberian castle (Cerro Morrita) found nearby. From ‘Cerro Morrita’, located northwest of Corrales de la Nava, a magnificent view of the area can be observed.
