Baluarte de la Candelaria is a Modern Era fortification in Cádiz, Andalucía, Spain. Built by Diego Caballero de Illescas in 1672, the wall provides protection and acts as a breakwater. Initially, it served as a quartel or barracks, engineer's workshop, and pigeon loft for the Colombófilo Army service. It was rehabilitated and is currently used as a cultural space, with plans to construct a Museum of the Sea within its walls and later decided to use it permanently as a venue for exhibitions.
