Revalorització de la Cova de les Toixoneres

A few months after the discovery of the Neanderthal boy in Moià at the Cova de les Toixoneres, the municipal council, the Generalitat, the Museum, and the research team gather to redefine the archaeological excavation project and collaborate to revalue the site. On October 27, 2021, representatives of the Archeology Service of the Generalitat of Catalonia, the IPHES (Catalan Institute of Paleoecology Human and Evolution Social), the Town Hall, and the Museum of Moià, presided over by the mayor Dionís Guiteres, met at the Prehistoric Park of the Coves del Toll to start working jointly on the revaluation of the Cova de les Toixoneres in view of the upcoming excavation campaigns and, moreover, to make it accessible to the public.
