Cova del Toll, located in Moïà, declared Bé cultural d'interès local, is a prehistoric cave world-renowned for its rich fossil finds. It houses the remains of hippopotamus, rhinoceros, cave bear, lion, hyena, chamois, and more. The Cova del Toll is one of the caves with some of the richest Quaternary faunal remains in Europe. As you explore this cave, you'll discover Neanderthal tools and evidence of a fire. While there is evidence to suggest the presence of Neanderthals, there is no conclusive evidence to determine their physical characteristics. At the end of your journey, don't miss the exhibits at the Moià Museum.
