Presaddfed Burial Chamber

Presaddfed Burial Chamber, located a short distance northwest of Bodedern in Anglesey, north Wales, is a scheduled ancient monument comprising two Neolithic chamber tombs. While the southern tomb is the more intact, with a capstone supported by three stout upright stones and a slender stone at the north, the northern tomb is damaged, with only two remaining uprights at the north end. It is unclear whether these chambers were part of the same structure or were independent.

These chambers were, at some point, surrounded by a large number of small stones, but their current status is not known. Presaddfed was first recorded in the 18th century and has been protected as a Scheduled Monument since. The state, via Cadw and Natural Resources Wales (NRW), manages the monument. The monument is in the care of the state, managed by Cadw, in whose care it is placed under a Guardianship agreement with Natural Resources Wales (NRW), who holds the scheduled monument licence. The chambers were described by Richard Gough in his 1798 version of William Camden's topographical survey, Britannia.
