Morastugan, a red-roofed 18th-century house in rural Sweden, hides a surprising secret: a painting of Napoleon I and his empress Joséphine, hidden in the upper room. First built by Per Jansson and Kjerstin Jansdotter around 1815-17 after the Mora by great division, it was later abandoned in 1920. Despite the abandonment, it was declared a building monument in 1980 and can now be rented for association meetings.
