Hair-blown woman statute in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat

L'Acollidora is a bronze statue created by Eduard Arranz-Bravo in 1985. It represents a woman with windblown hair and a round platter. L'Acollidora is one of the symbols of the city of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. The statue stands on Rambla Just Oliveras between Carrer de Barcelona and Carrer d'Enric Prat de la Riba. It is a striking icon of the city, often paused in front of by visitors and admired for its design. The statue is installed on a quadrangular pillar in the center of a flower bed, with a bronze plaque at its base.
