Arizona's Verde Valley, hidden treasure trove, guards the largest known petroglyph site - the Crane Petroglyph Heritage Site. Its chilling 1,032 images etched upon 13 panels call out from 13 ominous panels. In 1994, the US Forest Service claimed it as their prize, keeping it open to the public. A team of ghostly volunteers, including the Verde Valley Archaeological Society and Friends of the Forest, offer chilling guided tours and manage the site.
