The Evans House was built in 1893 by Doctor John M. Evans in Phoenix, Arizona. This 1+1⁄2-story brick residence is notable for an unusual onion dome that rises from the semicircular front porch over the front entrance.
The ground floor of the house contains seven rooms and was originally used as a residence. The upper floor served as an office for Dr. Evans and was accessed by a separate exterior stairway.
Located on West Washington Street, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
